Yes, you need your Liverpool Hope University ID card to enter the library. You tap your card at the entrance and enter through the turnstile. Library staff may ask to see your ID card at any time when you access the building or make use of library facilities, and you may be denied access if you cannot present your ID card.
Visitors and External Users
Visitors and external users also require an approved pass or membership card for entry.
Visitors without a valid pass will not be allowed access to the library.
If You Forget Your Card
In exceptional circumstances and during staffed hours (Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm), library staff may be able to look you up on the library system and grant you entry.
Outside of staffed hours, access to the Sheppard-Worlock Library will only be permitted with a valid ID card.
Any student without their ID card will need to go to the Security Lodge in the i3 Building to obtain a day pass before being allowed access to the library.
