I've created a complicated search. Is there a way of saving it so that I can perform the same search again in the future?

Answer

Yes, as long as you are logged in to your account (see: How do I access 'My Account' in OneSearch?).

When you run a search in OneSearch, a 'Save query' button appears at the top of the page. If you click this, then the query will be saved in your account. You will also be given the option to 'Turn on notification for this query'. If you choose this option, you will be prompted to enter your email address. OneSearch will then email you a list of new publications that match your saved search criteria. This might be particularly useful if you have created a long and detailed search string with multiple keywords or if you are performing research over a long time period, such as for a dissertation or a PhD.

You can view your saved searches by clicking the pin symbol next to your name at the top of the page and then clicking on the 'SAVED SEARCHES' tab.

A step-by-step guide is available here.
